Farm Visit 2025

Farm Visit 2025

The 2025 farm tour was a story of slowing down, listening, and immersing in a deep, nurturing forest... A forest where peace and abundance prevail. 🌿

This year, we once again visited the farm and received a private tour from Beronika, the guardian of the forest. She gave us an inside look at how 15 years of rainforest restoration and sustainable management have taken place — and how cacao has become one of their main sources of livelihood.

Here in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, forests aren’t cut down — they’re planted and cared for, because everything needed for life is found within them.

This finca is one of the few family-run enterprises in Guatemala dedicated to preserving ancient cacao varieties — grown pesticide-free and in harmony with nature.
They also cultivate rubber trees, ginger, bananas, cardamom, mucuna, and much more.

Reet Tiido writes about her experience at the farm : "And of course—what I witnessed at the cacao farm! I will never again question why cacao is so valuable. What was once a passion has now deepened into a profound respect for cacao."
