The cacao sold in this shop comes from the mountainous jungle regions of northern Guatemala, the Andes of Peru, and Nicaragua. These cacao farms are rooted in the principles of permaculture.

The exceptional quality of our cacao comes from ancient bean varieties, nutrient-rich soil, and traditional preparation methods. All Mamakakao products are tested for heavy metals to ensure purity.
Every year we travel to our partner cacao farms in Guatemala and bring our beloved community members to explore the depths of cacao 🌿

From seed selection to final packaging, every step of the supply journey is handled with care and heart.

Beronika, the owner of DaliLeo cacao, and her husband are also dedicated to collecting and preserving ancient cacao seeds to keep these original varieties alive. The cacao trees are grown from seed – not cloned – which means each tree is genetically unique.
